Its not stupid at all, I was practically raised by my older brother Will, who had been left alone looking after me, my brother Tom and my sister Joy, while my mom who was single at the time, worked two jobs to support us all. It wasn't until my brother was 16 and my mom remarried did he actually get to have a normal child hood that didn't involve looking after his siblings.Originally Posted by Astaroth
Yes, what happened is terrible and a tragedy, I'm not defending what the kid did, but more then likely the circumstances in which the 12 year old was left baby sitting are not as "stupid" as you think. I suspect that the boy's mother (Since there was no mention about a father in the article) is pretty much like my mother, a single mom trying to make ends meet to support her kids.

^_^ i'd say break the kid's legs in such a way that they'd never grow right and he could never walk again...
i don't belive in captial punishment... but i have nothing against making them WISH for it ^_^
What I mean is that if a kid beat a toddler to death when he trying to watch tv is either he is watching way to much tv and needed to get out of the house and do somthing after the punishment have been dealt to him. who would kill someone when that person is disturbing in some way

the death penalty and was executed , this was back in the 80's

and i have to agree it is theprents fault because they did not
spank him enough probably not at, all that time out stuff is
bull crap or making the go to councling to talk there feelings out
maybe even reading book wrote by people who never had kids.
the rod is being spared to much in todays world just look
at school violence , crime in general its mainly young kids , they
should pass a law where you need permission from the state to
have kids after taking a course in parenting by somone with
kids. to se of thehy ready for it.
where i live you hear about gangs in schools,kids killing kids
they have comunity service anouncments about stopping
the killing focusing on kidsthe parents really need to step
there game up or dont have kids at all.
kids themselves though who do kill rape and so on
should be treated in the most harsh ways possible with out
killing them to get it through there thick skulls that what
they did was wrong not funny or something.

what was that kid thinking i wonder, was that show really that important that he would kill someone over it??? Crazy, i hate to see what that killed would have been like as an adult in the real world....

That is sick. The twelve-year-old needs therapy or something. I'm sorry, but if a toddler is crying, you get off of your lazy bum and take care of the poor thing!
