its an abstract term used far to often.
mostly by religious activist and feminazis that want to neuter every male alive and force them into a slave role.
usually due to negative male influances in there life.
either that or once, again the jumping on the bandwagon due to an influential person in there life (usually objectifying them in their own way).
if your male is abusive, leave him. you can find another.
if your female is abusive, leave her. your better off alone.
Many guys do treat women like objects, (some women do the same to men, however) and some don't even realize it. Women are of course, anything but. If you find yourself in a conversation which resembles the following, the male needs a reality check:
John: Hey, I called you several times, why didn't you answer?
Jane: I was out.
John: Well where were you and why did you go out for? You should have told me.
Jane: I was out shopping, is that alright with you?
John, is possessive and his subconscience thinks Jane is "his" instead of "his girlfriend"
John needs to meet with a psychologist.
I only want the best for women, I want women to rule half the world, being
that they make up half of the population. I want half of the seats in the UN
to be occupied by women, I want half of the seats on the US Supreme Court
to be women, I want 25 women governors in the US.
We have a long ways to go, Women will not be treated equally to men until
she is equally represented in all branches of government.
I agree, some men do, but women are just as guilty.

there needs to be a woman prez and i am going to be it.
As I said and most of people here women should never be treated like mere objects.
