are you for or against cloning?

i see your point man, and yeah we should hope that in the futire we won't see clones of those guys mentioned in your post. What this nation needs now is a clone of president Lincoln.

Cloning...why would you...sure I would change my mind if I was on my deathbed and it was my only choice to live, knowing if I had one more thing to do before OI layed down to rest, but I'd be hesitent to use cloning to survive. Cloning is not a solution though. Just because some animal is going extinct, wouldn't mean we would use cloning to repopulate the creature again. We should target the source of why the animals are dying wether it be habitat destruction or hunting, or other reasons, and fix that, not create another way to get arounf it. Anyway, cloning is just too strange in our society, if you went around and saw someone exactly like you, you'd go crazy, insane, unless your birthed as a biological twin from a mother. looking alike would be strange to me. And what gets me, right now, as to what I understand about cloning, YOU woudln't have a choice to be cloned. You'd grow up with someone that is exactly like you. I lastly believe that the technology will increase to a point that we'll depend on it. Computers as an example. Without them, we'd drive into a huge chaos in the develloped worlds. well even if you use cloning for a noble purpose like transplants that would still have to "grow" them inside of a human body.....which is basically growing people and using their organs for yourself. To me that seems wrong i don't mind it being use on animals to help prevent extinction or something but.........I' just can't see how you can use a clone for medical purposes without killing the person. Also i heard that if doesn't even work most of the time.
