Thread: are you for or against cloning?

exactly and what if someone created a clone to transplant and that clone found out that is was only created to save a life and had no purpose? We shouldnt play god when it comes to that

It could help us if it's for medical reasons like cloning a kidney. But cloning a person there's no need.

I disagree. Which is faster, waiting 15-20 years training and raising clone children, or constructing machines that only take months or even weeks to create? We'd use advanced robotic troops before playing around with slow production clones. Besides the billions we would have to spend merely to get down a perfect system of making a useable clone every trial, and make sure it'll listen to you, would take years to perfect. Too impractical if you ask me.

Also, when it comes to cloning for medical purposes, it's hardly making a whole clone. You clone the organ you need and go from there. It's much easier to create cloned body parts, than whole clones.

I'm all for cloning but I don't think we're ready for it just yet...
