Thread: are you concerned!?

well thats you guys opinion!! most of the people are more concerned about other things rather that the earth!1 thats ok but it affects all of us

well, I am of the opinion that what we have done cannot be stopped, global warming will happen, fact of life, however I feel that we slow the pace down. You see many people only look to their governments and to the people who are in charge to help, however, my roommate who is an Earth and Atmospheric Sciences major told me the results of some studies on the environment and I am of the opinion that if everybody sat down adn thought about how they can recylcle, we can not only help the globe but stave off polution and gas prices. Everything is connected, I am not worried about it, because if I die, I die, but I am damn sure thinking about how I can make a difference in my small life

I guess there are other issue who ppl might think are more important ( drugs, education etc etc). But it's not like you have to be doing sumthing big to save the environment..or even have to stop looking at the other issues. I mean simple things like catching a bus, walking or bike riding instead of driving can help in a small scale..and if more ppl started doing it then it would start having a bigger effect, is one example... or even donating to an environment fund and let them do all the work lol. ok but I'm sure we can all do our little bits to help.

Yes, I am pretty concerned about the ozone layer. If it keeps on going we'll die sooner than we think. But many rich people / businessmen just want money, so they keep on polluting the environment for nothing ... also awareness is a problem too.

What I mean, there are many uneducated and arrogant people which do not know the concequences of polluting the environment.

i am not concerned at all, its going to happen... long time from now

i'd be pretty inhuman if i wasn't concerned about the condition of the environment, but honestly, there isn't much i can do. no matter what i do, i'm only an individual. what difference can one person make? not much, if any at all. so i've learnt to do what i can, and just live life the way it is. disposing of my own garbage in the rubbish bins and conserving water are just minor things that can be done, and i'm already doing what everyone else should be doing. apart from this, i can't see what else can be done from normal civilians such as myself.

Even though this continuous abuse is damaging the environment.........

And even though this might destroy the world sooner than we expect.........

I dont think worrying about it is going to solve anything....... nothing can stop the flow of nature, or the constant trashing of the world.

Of course, we can always try, right? Well, yes, we can try and stop it....... but then eventually, the world will end anyway. So, all that work for a few years to live........ I think Id rather enjoy what time I have left to the fullest rather than dedicate my life to saving the world for others
