i didn't really give this much attention because i'm not much into youtube that much, and i didn't came up with this topic either, a buddy of mine just gave this thought.
so...is it true? is youtube a place were most netizens can be racists that anyone can see it (videos), read it (comments and profiles), and even be influenced by it greatly compared to others?
i'm curious.

Rematche you make a very interesting point but please tell me what clips on youtube in particular you may be referring to? But yes you can put anything but porn on youtube.
any outlet that allows people to express their opinions en-masse will attract racist people.
Youtube is no exception, and the very fact that it allows the posting of video, well, that just makes them special.
For every racist video or comment, there's at least a 100 more that aren't.

but at least the internet has restrictions but youtube has loopholes, and that kinda makes it wrong, here. and most people use the internet for youtube.

Tell me about it, I feel the same way. But there are plenty of other websites for that sort of thing. I think the availability of dumb stuff on youtube is maybe a sign that culture is deteriorating.
Racism's prevalence in Society, especially in the US, is thanks to Free Speech. You can be as hateful and discriminating as you want (as long as you stay with in the confines of the laws governing it, there are points when free speech goes too far, like death threats and such), and its all thanks to the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution.
And I personally think that Free Speech in the states is going a bit out of control, like how the Supreme Court just ruled that the selling of video's of dogs fighting each other is legal and is protected speech (the production of video, IE staging the dog fights, is not).
The US made its bed with the 1st Amendment, now you guys gotta sleep in it.
That's because stupidity isn't a crime.You can do the same kind of search for almost any hot topic and get a similar result. It just means that there is all kinds of stuff there, that's all. It takes all types...
I would rather sleep in this particular bed aceman than have someone telling me what to think. Occasional stupidity still beats oppression, we have enough of that right now anyway.
