Beyond the Bounds

Beyond the bounds is where my imagination lies.
It is in this secret place that my spirit cries.
My dreams flourish and my hopes still thrive.
But it is here that my flesh dies.

I know I can make this a reality, I just have to try.
But it is as if both my hands are tied.
Determination is the key.
As well as the fact that God is with me.

I know in the end I already won.
It's just that there road there isn't fun.
I know that the enemy lies there in wait.
I just need to attack and not hesitate.

The prize is there and I know it's great.
You see it's my inheritance and it's mine to take.
The riches are endless as well as my life.
That's why on the way there I don't mind going through strife.

The path is narrow and sharp as a knife.
That's why I walk it boldly even if it costs my life.
I believe what I say, as strange as it sounds.
That's because my destiny is beyond the bounds.
