Yes that part of your statement is something I can go with, but the chipmunks were made in the 80s though. The reason they came out in the 90s was because they reran the episodes during that time on Cartoon network. The Alvin show ran on Nickelodeon though. But still there were some great times xD But this movie tends to show you that just a little bit of change in original character can lose old fans.

I agree they are remaking alot of old shows & movies. And I don't think the remakes are always good. I saw Transformers it was an awesome movie! But I have never seen the show. Was Transformers made in the 80's? I haven't seen the Omen,so I don't know which version was better.(I think the old one is) I hate it when they remake Disney movies like Cinderella! I thought it stopped at the second one it should have stopped there. People are running out of ideas that's why they remake movies & shows that have already had there time to shine.

Oh my bad. I said that because I saw the episodes in the 90's. But its true one little change always results in the loss of at least one fan. Thats when these companies have to ask if the loss of old fans really worth the possibility that they can make new fans even though the new fans aren't guaranteed.

Yes, transformers was in the 80's.
Remakes are never good, imo of course.
Cinderella was remade? I thought they only had a second part which should have stopped at the first since that's the way Walt Disney wanted it :/

    Anyways,
But thank goodness for Alvin and the chipmunks that they kept their original voices and the trailer was rather cute X3

The Cinderella 3 movie came out a few months ago. I don't know why they made another one they just did. They kept the original voices it did sound like them.
