I'm considering gettin' a Gamecube so I can play Animal Crossing and a plethera of other decent video games. But I need to know: Is it even worth my time getting Animal Crossing? Which one is better AC or ACWW? |

![]() ![]() Credits: 6,881 | Re: Animal Crossing Well, i'd say that both are definetly worth your time and money... the one for the GameCube runs a lot smoother and is very clear! your neighboors stay for a lot longer and it feels more like home... i didn't really feel that in the DS version... however, the DS version has a lot more options and items, but none of your neighboors feel that close to you... you can get pretty depressed in the GameCube version becuz your neighboors give no warning if the move in or out... so, it has heppend that you go to visit your best friend in the game and they're not there... so personally, the DS version is the one i play more... but i still visit my GameCube town and all my friends there...

![]() ![]() Credits: 21,106 | Re: Animal Crossing The GC Animal Crossing is fun. But if you already have the AC:WW then maybe its not a neccesity. Sure, its a good game...til you do everything. Pay off and upgrade your home to its best with all your fav furnitures, catch all the fish and bugs, collect all the fossils, and so on. After that point not much else to do. Who'd do all that you ask? *cough*me and my sister*cough* The same could be said for AC:WW but with the Wi-Fi it offers a little more being able to interact with REAL people (I dont have the AC:WW yet but its under consideration. LOL). Sure, the GC version lets your friend visit, when they bring over their memory card with their save data in it. Now putting AC aside...getting a GC isnt too bad of an idea. Theres quite an amount of good games for it. The one thing that concerns me is that will they all be available on the Wii later on in the future? Some games are even being republished on the Wii. Such as "Resident Evil 4" (Thank you Nintendo!!!!) "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess"...ok, that one came out before the GC version but...
