what is the most annoying things in games. for me is that you cant cut the movie sceen and get back to the action of the game where you are playing from.

I know what you mean, that is so damn annoying.
but the most annoying thing for me is that when the game freezes for no reason what so ever. Like in the Tony hawks game Project 8, there is a section of the game that always freezes, but if you are lucky, it will go through and allow you to play further.

How about the fact that in some games you can't save whenever you want?? That is so f-ing annoying, and caused me tons of headaches over the years because the games want you to play longer.

Yeah that's annoying too.... And because off that you cant really keep the "Health Warnings" that follows the game (in the manual)..... But the games where you can save when ever you want can also be too easy because off that....

that was the bad thing about the resident evil games, plus you had to find ink ribbons! (bad headaches, lots of moutain dew staying up b/c i only had ONE ink ribbon...)

and i for one LOVE cutscenes, especially pretty ones

I get frustrated when you are supposed to escort somebody/something and it gets stuck. Like if they have to open a door but won't. You will sit there waiting untill you get sick of it and restart.

Any game where a strong weapon or any weapon can't kill someone with a shot to the crotch or the head...that just isn't right! ahaha.

Or yes, when there are minimal save spots in a game. I really don't like that, Especially in the long, long RPG games. But thankfully, most of my games aren't like that.

Yes, I absolutely see what you mean. On several occasional programming bugs gave me that trouble and I had to restart to the last save point. In order to take out my frustration I often brutally murder those I need to escort before I restart the game.

EDIT: Another thing I hate, game developers keep trying to make games a "realistic" experience. My life stinks and games are my escape from reality. So keep my reality and games separate shitheads

Adventure games not having enough sensical options

I love Nitro+... bless their black little hearts.. but after having attempted to play Lamento a 2nd time and in 3 hours of clicking through story and exposition I read the first time, not encountering a single option to affect gameplay, I'm ready to toss it out the window.

The first time through, the story and lovely atmosphere are great... but when you've already done it all once before: it's torment to sit through 4 hours of still images and text explaining things you already know.

Hana Chirasu was comparably painful (though only requires about an hour of exposition to Lamento's epic tooth-pulling four).

in Togainu no Chi, you are being chased by baddies... you're given three choices:

Go left
Go right
Stand your ground

At the next corner:

Go left
Go right
Stand your ground

Standing your ground invariably gets you killed. Choosing the wrong combination of lefts and rights gets you raped and killed. The only way to survive this portion of the game is save before your every move and hope to heck you've picked the right corner.

This is why most adventure games are impossible to complete without cheating
