Im not like a metal fan to dead... but I like one or two songs.... but my fav is cradle of filth(Im not sure its regular metal but still), they have some pretty good guitars.... and Mago the Oz(that one is in spanish) that has some awesome lyrics.. oh and a couple of songs of Marilyn Manson....

I do not like listening to metal on a cd player or something along those lines, however, listening to live metal is very fun.
Disturbed and Slipknot technically are metal by modern definition, but they're more like "nu metal", a subset of the genre, not the real thing. By fans of the genre though it's not considered 'real' metal due to the quality of the material---bad. You can go on and like them, but the thing is that if you're a fan of "metal", then you can find MUCH better stuff to listen to.
I'm just saying that they aren't classified as real metal, but as "nu-metal", which is not considered metal by metalheads. Meh, your opinion though, I personally despise those bands with a passion.
