James Cameron has out done himself. With a visual masterpiece that is stunning and dramatic the cinematic giant may find himself breaking his own box office records reminicent of the days of Steven Spielberg.

Avatar as a dramatic piece that is as moving as any epic and more action packed than 300. In a future where the military works for private companies a group of inhabitants are being pushed to the brink by a growing industry that only succeeds at their expense.

Though it is militray vs. inhabitants of a foreign planet it can be anything. This could be Lebannon vs. Israel, or USSR vs. Afghanistan. It channels any conflict where you root for the underdog. There is nothing like this movie, a dream fifteen years in the making and worth every minute.

While it is in 3D it is not nearly as obnoxious as other 3D movies I have seen.

i want to see this movie it looks really interesting, and good. ive always liked his movies, and this looks like another ill watch over and over.

with the mix of live action and 3D usage for most of the film it looks like something that will make people realize movies are changing as well.

This is my favorit movie of all time, I saw it the first day it came out and I would have to agree with beast that this is a masterpiece accross all levels and every meaning of the word. The grafix were mind blowing, the story was top notch, the charactors were well done and just out standing!!

Acctually beast, those were not militery persons, they were mercs with militery hardwear and training, even said so in the beginning of the movie, but I am just nit picking.

Once again, Sigorny Weaver was an out standing acctress as the lead scientists. She had the best smart ass remarks in the entire movie.

I remember looking over to my brother after the movie and said that I would love to be appart of the Navi but would probably crap my self doing all those climbing in pricariouse places and that I would probably stick with piloting those mechs who use a 120mm semi-automatic cannon.

My brother and I just can't shut up about how amazing the movie was.

Just got back from seeing it, it sure is an awesome film! I got just what I was expecting, a really epic action film with 3D Effects.

In particular, I found the story interesting, and the 3D Effects used were really Amazing, particuarly in the Final Battle when there was bullets and arrows flying everywhere!

I definatly reccomend you to watch this film!
