    While I also think Requiem is Mozart's best work you shouldn't really link the two so closely. Most of his work is very different from Requiem.

    i like both alot, but i think mozart is more influential. scientists have said something about the mozart effect which is the effect of lisining to his music that helps clear thoughts or something. . . . .

    As I said last night I like both of them. I lean towards Mozart. I think John Williams or Basil Poledouris beats both of them though.

    though its a difficult choice but beethovens 5th wins it for me

    I prefer Beethoven, his compositions are more soothing where as Mozart is more emotional and wild. My favorite pieces are Beethoven's - Moonlight Sonata and Mozart's- Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (serenade in G)
