It's probably not old school but I really liked the visuals of Batman: The animated series.
It has less to do with animation that art style and setting though.
We all have an old animated series from are childhood that we loved. Some were pretty popular others were relativerly obscure but to us they rocked. So share this with us. My favorite old school animation would have to be a series callled Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home. It was shown on Cartoon Network back when the Cartoon Network rocked. The show was funny, sort of an animated version of All In The Family. I don't know much about this anime since it was produced probably years before I saw it. This was before they started calling their midnight shows adult swim.

Mine has to be... Fat Albert. It did alot for my animation devolpment. I grew up thinking that minoritys had to be this certain way. It had everyday problems and big problems too. ^^But like tht show showed alot of promise. I liked DB and Salior Moon alot too. lol

Back in the day, almost anything on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon was what was happening. Now there taking away our precious childhood cartoons and replacing them with reality crap, damn it.
Will mine is Dragon Ball Z all the way i rember when i was really little everybody watched it because Goku was awsome and cause of its fighting scenes (which are awsome) but I love its old school art .

Now if you really want 'Old School', then the choice would be the WB's 'Bugs Bunny' episodes from 'Loony Toons'. During the 1950s, they actually earned an Oscar at the Academy Awards for outstanding short subject work...
