I completely forgot about FFX. That music was great as well! It's the reason I was sucked in to that game for months on end. LOL.

i must say it made climbing the ridiculously long ladder after fighting The Fury a bit more exciting. just a bit.

but really i love TES 4 oblivion and the Sly Cooper series. Oblivion i must say has the deepest create a character mode ive ever seen and the musical scores in it are beautiful. Sly Cooper i love because of the dialogue between the characters is amusing.

I didn't know whether to be excited or expect some female at the top of the ladder--which was, as you said, ridiculously long. I would stop on occasion, on my way up like, "WTF IS THAT??" I'd shout, "Who's listenin' to Snake Eater??"

Since we're on the subject of Metal Gear Solid, MGS: Portable Ops has a pretty kick ass soundtrac as well. Although some stages sound like a mix between espianoge and porn music, LOL. *Ban... chika, chika, chika... wow, wow... chika, chicka... Bow, chika, wow-wow...*

I thought the same thing. It sounded like spy porn. But the soundtrack we pretty good.

Most games that have just regular music like burnout and alot of sports games aren't that great. When I play video games I really don't like to hear the top 40 of that time played over and over. What I wanna hear is something unique and original. One thing I forgot to mention earlier was Castlevania. This series has had great music since it started. I truly love every song on every one I've played. If you haven't heard it yet or played any of the games go ahead.

Well personally I loved the FF's ones, but then my brother played Xenosaga, and now I love all their soundtracks to the three games. They have a little bit of every genre so if I feel like heavy metal they got it, soft and sweet, that too. So, I think Xenosaga's set of 3 is worth listening to.

Hmmm i liked lots of songs from the game Need for speed Underground... Burnout.. sheesh that game has lots of nice songs too... the latest burnout... don't though... but i love one of the songs.... My curse by Killswitch Engage...

Hmm what else... the musics in the game .Hack G.U// (series) is good too.. i love the battle commence music.. it's energetic and most of the music are relaxing and some mysterious and soothing... ^^

yeah i forgot to mention that ... not "Need For Speed - Under Ground 2" alone but "Need For Speed - Most Wanted" and even "Need For Speed - Hot pursuit 2" .. i haven't played "Need For Speed - Under Ground 1" so i can't really say ...

I also enjoy the Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack. They had songs that you could remember many years after playing the game, but then as soon as the song played the memories would come flowing in.

Also FFX, the soundtrack for that was good as well. For the same reason as FFVII.

Agreed with the above comments. I've always loved the Final Fantasy soundtracks... except for X-2. No.

I've played loads of video games, but the best soundtrack, I can't lay my finger on... I'm particularly fond of a bunch, though... An odd bunch...

—The original Spyro trilogy. Steward Copeland rocks.
—Klonoa: Door to phantomile. So much Nostalgia.
—The Mario theme song is a really memorable track.
—Devil May Cry. haven't played the games in a while, though...
—Lamento -THE WORLD DEVOID OF EMOTIONS- OST. Best soundtrack in a BL game that I've heard. I am in love with Lamento's music, especially the track Lamento...
—『帝国千戦記』 オリジナルサウンドトラック, or Teikokusensenki Original Soundtrack. If you haven't heard of the game, it's not surprising. A pretty strong soundtrack for a BL game... not the strongest (I'd say beaten by Lamento), but this game was made two years earlier, when the watermark wasn't as high I guess, so... Though I admit sometimes the soundtrack seemed too good for the game at times... Or a little overdramatic. Yes, I wanted to kill myself during the battle scenes... I... Those tracks deserve more action-packed battles, let's just leave it at that.
—Sly Cooper dialogue. The music matches the atmosphere pretty well, too, even though it's not the best musical score out there.
—Psychonauts dialogue. Oh, some of the wittiest I've heard. But why, why did it have to sell so poorly?
—The original Crash bandicoot trilogy. If you've heard it, you'll know why.
—The Sims soundtrack. I have a thing for soothing soundtracks like that...
