Cloverfield [after the movie]

I have seen the movie. It was really, really good. But I must say, even though I've seen the monster, I'm not even sure how to really describe it. It's not godzilla, its not a monkey, a robot, its just this hideous monster thing that I can't connect to anything. And I swear, that thing cannot die! They frickin' pepper bombed it with a stealth, and it didn't go down.

I really enjoyed how they decided to film it too, using the guy with his craptastic video camera the entire show. It was funny, cuz the threatre manager actually warned us before the movie started that if we have motion sickness problems to just be careful, lol.

That's how they done the Blair Witch horror.
But the creature had to come from the sea and be able to knock lady liberty head right off.:omg:

yeah, this was waaay better than the Blair Witch Project though. The giant insect babies were a nice touch too. I hate insects, so the tunnel scene was definately my favorite part.

nei, I have to say in my honest opinion, it was the worst movie I have ever saw! Why? For one simple reason: Motion Sickness. It would have been an excellent movie if it wasn't behind a constantly moving camera! They should have put a warning or something because I got up and walked out of the movie only when it was 30 min in to it becasuse I was going to throw up! If only it weren't behind a horribly moving camera, I would've loved it! But, alas, they had a stupid director! It's sad! The camera was moving everywhere, and I would've throwed up if I didnt get up and leave! DO NOT go see this movie if you get motion sickness!!!

first off, what did everyone think of the movie? i thought it was great.

i mean, there was no backstory at all, or explanation, but i still thought it was prety good. defenitly good for a sequal, methinks

a lot of people, however didn't like it do to the fact there wasnt a happy ending but i dont think all movies need a good ending to be good

I wouldn't waste my money on this movie. Come on if they cant make a movie at least 90 minutes, forget about it. 75 minutes is just too dam short. Also i heard they use hand held cameras. Are you kidding me? I dont even know if ill rent it.

No back story and no happy ending? This movie is defiantly on my ban list. No wonder its 75 min.
