The condemed copying Battle Royale?

There is a film coming out called The Condemed...i saw a trailer of it and it looks just like battle royale..but american..Why ruine such a amazing Film and Manga..

This is sensory pleasures material.
About the copying aspect, the theme is hardly original. Remember The Running Man? Mean guns?

^_^ just becuz it's American, doesn't mean it will be bad! Rate the movie as itself, don't compare it to the original. Most times, you'll find it's not so bad or even better than the original.

Thats the first thing I thought when I saw it. Made me want to go watch battle royale again. MAybe the movie just borrowed some aspects from battle royale.

I'm not sure if it's copying it or not all I know is it seems like a pretty good movie that I'm planning to go see once it comes out in April.

Curious, I went on IMDB and read what the movie was about... and I don't think it sounds too much like Battle Royale. I mean, the have to kill other people part, sure. But everything else? No. It's not about 9th graders, it's not some law the government passed, and it's for a television program?! Not Battle Royale... and doesn't sound very good to me, either >_<
