cyborg 009 movie

it been set up with hollywood directors filming has started and it release date is 2008, any thoughts on what the movie should be about.

Apparently it's been in the works?

Shotaro Ishinomori would be pissed right now...if he wasn't dead.

I didn't get to see the whole series or the other movies, so I can't say what it should or would be about.

with the effects that they put in movies like that no one knows it might turn out dragon ball with live people.

I only saw a few episodes of Cyborg 009, and was disinterested for the most part. Now, as for a movie, this might not be such a bad thing.

If I remember correctly, the storyline for Cyborg 009 was something along the lines of a group of individuals who were tested on and made into cyborgs by a corrupt organization of some sort.

Now, that said, the director of the movie is also the director of the Batman films and Constantine, and those movies weren't too bad, especially the newest Batman movie, and Constantine. I'm not going to say that it is going to be a great, great movie, but it should be interesting enough to watch and enjoy.

Correct me if I'm wrong on the storyline.

Or... there will be similarities on effect usage with masked rider series? cos if I'm not wrong, both are made by Shotaro Ishinomori...

i guess he would be, i mean having his comic book being interperative my hollywood. i know there might be some disapointments but, we'll see.

i agree with u on the directors part. i didn't mind the batman movies. and the new one was so & so. but constantine was done really well.

Well, I'd have to look up the characters in cyborg 009. My personal pet peeve about Hollywood though, is that they think they need big actors like Tom Cruise or Halle Berry to make a good movie. All I want to see are actors who look like their characters, and can act.
