Deadliest Warrior Season 2
For those of you who do not know the show, SpikeTV has a show on tuesdays at 1000pm eastern time that pits famous warriors that would never have meant up against each other, season one was a bit short but interesting. Season two appears it will be even better, already they have put SWAT against GSG9 and Attila against Alexander the Great. More great matches are looming.
Weapons demonstrations are also analyzed throughout the show. This helps break down what type and what amount of damage is done.
Re: Deadliest Warrior Season 2
I watched every episode of season one, and it was pretty interesting though the format gets a bit dull at times. I was disappointed with some of the match-ups last time too, particularly the Ninja vs. Spartan episode, which I believe was a bit of a mismatch. But it's very entertaining, I haven't seen the new episode yet but I'll probably catch a rerun or see it online one of these days. Didn't they say they'd bring back some of the warriors from last season?

They essentially had 2 season opening episodes. The first one they did a retrospective on season one to determine the best ancient and modern warrior. I had issues with that episode because they immediately counted the apache out due to his lack of armor. Following that episode they premiered the season 2 match up; GSG9 vs. SWAT. The last episode was Atilla vs. Alexander.
Re: Deadliest Warrior Season 2
I dislike these kind of shows. The testosterone fuelled posing and presenting is bad enough, but then you realise the comparisons don't make any sense either.
Not to mention the stupid match ups. The Spartan vs. Ninja Dark. mentioned is a good example of this. As was the gun-and-explosive-equipped pirate vs. a medieval knight.
Re: Deadliest Warrior Season 2
But that is really the only type of programming that SpikeTV does is the testosterone laiden stuff. The match ups don't make sense but they really can't. The point is about putting groups together that never fought to see how it would have turned out. You are right Hassun. That is pretty ridiculous to put a pirate against a knight. After all knights went out and pirates are still around.

I also think that. Even When I watched it, I also felt the same like you..

What do you also think dollie?
Re: Deadliest Warrior Season 2
Tonight it is Jesse James Vs. Al Capone. I am thinking that the long range rifles of JJ will overtake Al Capone's Tommy Guns.
