It did? I don't feel it did. Many people who saw The Departed hadn't seen Blood Diamond, so they were only speaking of The Departed, which in turn made others want to see it as well. But it did have lots of people talking about it... Blood Diamond, I felt was a really good movie of morals.. if that makes any sense. It was the bond between the father and the son, and the determination the father had to get back his son. Now that I think about it, there've been a lot of movies with that storyline. But this has to be the best. Blood Diamond and John Q. Sorry for the spoilers earlier Hassun ^ ^;;
Yeah I really liked Blood Diamond. I saw it in thte theater. I'm not sure if it is out on Dvd yet. Also at the end of the movie, it explained that there is a new law about war over diamonds. So people don't have to worry about buying diamonds. I believe the treaty was made in 2003. The movie was set in 1999.
I Hjavent Seen The Departed But I Have Ssen Blood Dimond! I Love Blood Dimond! I Think Leanardo Did Hella Good In It And I Think That He Should Keep Doing Good!
Yes, he should continue to act. He did do an excellent job at portraying his character in Blood Diamond. I was surprised to see he kept his accent through the entire movie. I know how hard it is to have an accent, and to keep it along the way as you talk. He stayed with the accent, not breaking it at all! And the movie was a pretty good length. I'm sure they took numerous shoots when filming, but even so.. He did a really great job at the movie. It was a nice movie, and I enjoyed it very much. They should continue to make movies like that.. Pure and has a point. Most movies these days are all about sex, alcohol, and chaos. =___=
