Thread: does anyone like the band queen, and other classic rock?

And I am a huge fan of Queen, have been since i was born. Queen is part of my nations heritage and will always been remembered as the greatest band of all time. My parents played Queen since I was a child and was brought up listening to classic rock with bands like Pink Floyd, Yes, Led Zepplin, etc. Its just my kind of music along with Alternative and Indie rock.

Yes, I believe Freddie was the greatest voice ever lost. Just think what he may have done had he lived. He was amazing even at the very end. My favorite Queen song is "Who wants to live forever". The emotion is so palpable it's heartbreaking. I often wonder if he knew even then that he didn't have long to go on this earth.
Brian May has to be one of the greatest guitar players ever.

Of course I love Queen and all of the classic bands, one of my fav. songs was "Bohemian Rhapsody" and when they put it on Wayne's World, I don' know why, but it jus' seem ta fit. Yet I haveta say that my fav. classic band of all time was CCR, I grew up listenin' ta that band wit my uncle Jeff (God rest his soul) and my dad. Their songs jus' spoke ta me, "Who'll stop the Rain;" "Hey Tonight;" etc. They all remind me of the good times that I had wit my family back when I was a kid.

well im stopping there cuz i could keep going for a while....
but i love how the music just takes you back...
it brings back memories. sigh...
heh i wasnt alive when some of them were in their prime. but i listened to it growing up so it had alot of memories...

they had a style that can never be remade or copied...

I love almost all clasic rock .. preist, sabbath, led zepplin, scorpians, van hallen(meh), pink floyd, all those great bands... i love the song night crawler by judas preist
