    Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind? I thought I read that line somewhere ~ It is in some poem written by Alexander Pope. Well.. anyways, the storyline seems appreciably enjoyable, so I might check into this, though I am not much of romantic-movie watcher. That idea of "erasing memory" thing sort of parallels with that Pope's poem, where the lady lover (wife) begs/asks her beloved to forget her. Interesting...

    This movie is a favorite of mine. The theory behind it was very interesting. Even though they had all their memories erased they still managed to find each other afterwards. I guess it proves there are somethings that can never be removed from our memories. Or maybe its just better to not forget what has happened to us. There are many things that can be said about this movie. I think Jim Carey did very good in the movie. He does great comedy movies but he's good as a dramatic actor as well.

    I think I saw it around the same time you did Legend. I remember watching it again last week or so on HBO.

    Eloisa to Abelard - Alexander Pope

    ...How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
    The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
    Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
    Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd;
    Labour and rest, that equal periods keep;
    "Obedient slumbers that can wake and weep;"
    Desires compos'd, affections ever ev'n,
    Tears that delight, and sighs that waft to Heav'n.
    Grace shines around her with serenest beams,
    And whisp'ring angels prompt her golden dreams.
    For her th' unfading rose of Eden blooms,
    And wings of seraphs shed divine perfumes,
    For her the Spouse prepares the bridal ring,
    For her white virgins hymeneals sing,
    To sounds of heav'nly harps she dies away,
    And melts in visions of eternal day...

    "Eloisa to Abelard" by Alexander Pope

    sweet lord that was depressing. <3
