Thread: Fable 2

Wrong section , moving to Sensory Pleasures.

Fable 2 is due to be released in North America on Friday, and I already have the Not so Collectable Collectors edition pre-ordered.

The reason I say that is because out of everything that they promised in the CE (Tin case, Making of DVD, Hobbe Statuette, 5 fate cards, art book), the only things that didn't get cut was the Making of DVD (and even that had the Developers Journals cut from it) and the actual game itself.

Needless to say I was quite pissed.

Art book? I didn't see an art book in the list. Oh well. I like some of the things they are giving instead. An extra dungeon a cool sword and Halo 3 Gear (I'm a fan of Halo 3). I defiantly didn't need the Hobbe statue. The fate cards would just be something I would go "hey, these are neat" then probably forget about them. That is just another way to look at the same side of the coin. My emails (from GameStop) say it will be released the 21 of this month. If you want to make an extra bit of gold before you get Fable 2, you can download the Pub Games from Xbox Live. The money transfers over to the game.

I'm truly not 100% anymore after seeing how the game is gonna function. After playing Oblivion for so long, it's gonna take some getting used to to dive headfirst into another massively single player rpg.

I feel i'm going to need to rent it before i shell out the sixty dollars for it, granted i can even find a copy. I was too late when it came to reserving it, so sadly i don;t even know if any of the game stores around me will have it.

Let me just give you an idea as to what was cut from the CE of the game



I hope I get 10 dollars of my pre-order back...

Oh, and I lied about it being avliable on Friday, its due out on Tuesday.
