Thread: favourite singer?

My favourite singers are Avril Lavigne, Pink and Emily Haines. I think avrils voice has a very unique quality to it, even though I don't like her new stuff, her old songs are good to sing along to. And the other two are awesome live performers. As for male voices I'm a bit less picky and it just has to be a good song, but I like Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters, and the lead singer from The Killers and Yellowcard sound okay to my ears. I'm really picky about most of the stuff I listen to so they have to be able to pull off pretty good melody.

solo singer?
I'm not a big fan of solo singers really. I like listening to entire bands, such as evanescence- though my favorite singer in general is definitely Amy Lee. She has a very unique voice and makes awesome lyrics [plus she doesn't dress like a hooker]

Well my favorite singer would have to be James Hetfield from Metallica. He is awsome and sings really well.

Yes I know every song and I know all of the Lyrics by Metallica. I have a small band myself n we sing Metallica's music as well as our own Heavy Metal
