Final Fantasy/Advent children

So it is a game, or not? And how many movies are out?? You guys are making my head hurt.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within

Video Games: Final Fantasy 1 all the way to Final Fantasy 12.

So, there are games, and then advent children is the movie based off one of the games. Hope this is simpler, I can be confusing.

Ya I noticed. So is there more than one Advent children/Final fantasy movies coming out?

I havent played the games but I've seen the movie Final Fantasy Advent Children and I loved it I don't think I've seen an animated movie that stands up to its quality
and yeah like Deo said the action scenes were great lol

There is only 1 Advent Children movie, so I can't compare it to anything else. It was only all right - I definitely think the CGers could have done a better job on Tifa and Zack. Neither of them looked as real as the other characters. And what's up with the fishnet vest on Barrett???

i really like the action scenes ... but i havent played the games b4... so i don't undrestand the whole story... i mean who was that guy and the chick that came when the little guy got his decease cured?

You must be talking about Tseng and Elena. They're Turks, just like Reno and Rude. They didn't appear for the most part due to their injuries. (sustained from the beginning of the movie)

And FFVII:AC is no more of an anime than Over The Hedge or Madagascar are. It's highly overrated, and frankly, rather boring.

Any movies and anime based off Final Fantasy are:

FF7 Advent Children-based off of the FF7 game and took place after the ending of the game. Its availble in the US as a standard 2-disc set or as the Limited Collector's Edition that includes FF7 postcards, novel, script (for the movie) and as a bonus exclusive for the Collector's edition, the FF7AC:Last Order anime.

FF7AC: Last Order - an animated prequel to FF7, gives you more insights as to what happened or should I say what led to the events of the FF7 game. As far as I know this is only availble in the US only in the Collector's edition FF7AC. You can probably watch it online somewhere though.

Final Fantasy:Spirits Within - Not based off any of the FF games and have little to do with anything of the FFs...personally I dont think that this should even be called a FF.

Final Fantasy Unlimited - An anime series based off of FF. Not directly related to any of the FF games but have some famous chars references from the series. This includes Moogles, Chocobos, Summon creatures such as Phoenix, and Cid. Overall an decent anime. Available in the US and is now out as a complete series set.

Final Fantasy: Dont remember much of this...found a two VHS series of FF that was availble about...10yrs ago? As far as I remember the only FF reference I found was the crystals...
