Final Fantasy XII (12)

Heya peoples, i was just curious if any one else has gotten the new FF XII game.

If so, how do you like it?

I myself was a little skeptical at first about that battle system but i have grown to love it. I think this FF game is actually really challenging so far. I'm using Vaan, Ashe, and Basch for my party mostly.

I really like the fact that this game is all focused around something other than just the characters for a change. And this one seems much more serious without the plucky comical relief (such as Wakka from FF X and other such things. I think we've all had enough of characters like Wakka haha)

1. What do you like about the game so far?
2. What characters do you like to use?
3. Any particular things about your gaming experience with it you wanna share?

I haven't played any Final Fantasy game but my friend is dedicated to it. I told him I would get it. I watched the movie and the fighting scenes makes me want to play.

do you live in america? it's not even out where i live.

Is the opening video better than FFX? I always liked the theme they choose for FFX and the song to fit it ^_^

The opening video is pretty bad ass actually. It starts all calm and everything but most of its a war. Its pretty cool

Its definitely a step in the right direction after FFX-2. It's got a gripping story, excellent and original battle system, good soundtrack, and what's called a gambit system so you can automate parts of battle. Adds to the strategic side of things and definitely brings a welcome sense of freshness to the final fantasy scene.
