    Folk/Indie Music

I am a big fan of Folk and Indie stuff, because I love the sound and it leaves room for each artist to express themselves more I think. So I was wondering if anyone knew any good bands or artists in that genre. A few good ones I listen to are Kevin Devine, Chris Garneau, and Miss Derringer. So questions or comments anyone? ^-^

There's a Japanese Folk artist i know named Amagatsu (i think that's his name), anyways...

he mixes blues with traditional Japanese instruments, and the results are pretty good for the most part... you kinda have to have an ear for it though. Soshi Kitai (my Darling, also on this site) really likes it, but i'm not as into it...

    ^o^ still good though!

I'm a big indie fan but I've never really listened to those you listed. I like to chill out to Devendra Banhart, Grizzly Bear, Beirut, etc. The music is good because it's humble and unique.

Indie...I have the monopoly for indie, but look up bands like Kasabian, The Bravery, The Rapture, Satillite Party, the Arctic Monkeys, Cold War Kids, Dogs, The Fratellis, Hot Hot Heat, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Klaxons, Morningwood, Muse, Nine Black Alps, Tsar, The Von Bondies, and We Are Scientists. Do those work for you?
I've seen all you here before at the rise and the fall, lets go down and ring the bell at the Levity Ball.
