I've only seen one episode but, it looks really good. I may have to find a way to watch it from the beginning. Peach's sister tells me it's great.
greeting tv viewers and fans! so, does anyone here watches this show on hbo?
YYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

I've been waiting to watch this tv show for a while now. The books were awesome and so i expect that the series should be just as good.
Can't wait to see who will get to...'rule them all', i've purposely delayed reading the last book so i can follow both the book and the tv show. But i really do hope the ending is good, fingers crossed.
I've seen the entire first season and bought the whole series Martin has written thus far, currently reading through the first one. It's one of the few books I've read that TV/movie has been able to translate to film really really well. Much of the dialogue is intact, straight from the book, the character development is very interesting, and I rather enjoy that the author has no problem killing off anyone at any moment. I personally like to read ahead and see how well the film version handles plot, characters, dialogue, etc, so the fact that season 2 doesn't start up till spring of next year, I'll have *plenty* of time to catch up on the epic tale.
well at least i'm not the only one here after all. anyway, i have seen all of the episodes and i am waiting now for the second season. by the way...any lanister fans here? i'm not one though.
YYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
I did and will continue watching it, though I already read all the books available so far, except the newest one, (didn't get to order it yet^^) but that was some time ago so I might have forgotten a thing or two, it's nice to refresh my memory with this great tv show, they really did a great job, I never thought they could make an interesting tv show out of the books but they did it, great job!

Considering the books were written by a guy whose done television, I'm not surprised it's done so well. The way Martin writes makes it very easy to translate to television, and I'm glad it's HBO that's decided to try it. I'm on book 2 right now, and I really can't wait to see how they do some of the chapters in this book.
Also, I really hope they show more battles in season 2. Seriously. They hardly showed any battles in the first season. :|
That was the biggest down side to session one of "Game of Thrones" for HBO. After waiting for a few weeks to barrow the book from a friend, I went out and got all of the books. I am almost done with book one right now. I got to say it is almost as good as the "Wheel of Time" books. The way he brings the characters to life is great.
