    Which video games do you think are popular now on days?

    the video games i believe are most popular right now are any online games. i know that isnt a genre, but online games are the future of gaming. its much more enjoyable to be playing with other humans than with somke bot.

    Hmm... I know WOW and Counterstrike are very popular online games at the moment. So is Halo 2 which is the only one of the three that I play from time to time at get-togethers. I don't think there are any games more popular than those right now, but some must be coming up here soon.

    shooters are the most popular nowadays it seems. Sports and shooters. Madden, Halo, Half-life, the list goes on. War games seem to be popular too. And I'm not speaking specifically gamer's favorites, but people's favorites in general. This certainly doesn't reflect MY favorites.

    i think mindles fighting games are getting popular
    and rpg is a close second. i wish RPG was first above
    everything else but life is odd like that

    it think first person shooters like counterstrike and battlefield
    and RTS games like warcraft and such.... also character development games like the world of warcraft... but I think the most popular are first person shooters...

    FPS and RPG dominate the online perspective, but RPGs by themselves I don't think are as popular as FPS. WoW may be an exception perhaps, but when you look at all the awesome shooters out, it's easy to see which is most popular.

    FPS games are pretty popular right now. Especially all the World War II FPS games.
