    Re: Good old games

Ok so we can have more that one fav game from before 2000.
    so lets see, hmm.

    1) C & C the first game to come out, Nod was way cooler than the Gdi
    2) with Fritz Resident evil 1 was very good.
    3) FFVIII came out in 98 so I must add that here.

there are a lot of games that I enjoyed.
@ Divine_Punishment... Pong was the ultimate game, then came Astroids, and on the atari came combat if you remember that? the tanks, planes, and jets.
    now that was great fun.

Another of my choices: The first and the original Contra of Konami. Play with Scorpio and Mad Dog back me to the past, when i was younger and had my own VG console, the NES (8 bit console). For me, one of the best shooter of the history of VG.

Super Mario the Original [Re-made on Gameboy] and Super Mario 64. Also the Original Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Very Challenging.

I'm 21 and i don't consider myself old. I don't know what's wrong with these guys saying the year 2000 is old.

YES YES YES, I sat in front of my sega genesis for hours as a child playing Phantasy Star II, III, and IV. I never ever played One before. I always wanted to since the boss in IV told me it was the final boss in the first phantasy star.

Let's see a couple of series I remember playing:

Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, and the one on Super Nintendo.

Mega Man and Mega Man X Series

Sonic the HedgeHog 1, 2, 3, and 4(Sonic and Knuckles)

    Shinobi Series

    Street Fighter 2.

    Paper Boy

Ninja Turtles in Time on Super Nintendo

Since the guy who created the thread is saying the year 2000 is old I might as well include Virtua Fighter.
