Re: Is it good to recreate Marvel movies or bad?

The only movies I really go to see in theaters ARE Super-Hero movies, and they're usually better than most other movies anyways.

Iron Man was great, the best film of the year for me so far.

I'm also looking forward to The Incredible Hulk, Spiderman 4, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers Movie, and Wolverine: Origins and if they have any other movies (aside from the Thor movie) I'll prolly want to see it. Aslong as the movies are good I have no problems with them making movies.

I for one didn't find the last Hulk movie to be that good. I didn't even get psyched up for it when it came out. I would of rather watched the TV series...it was good haha.

But anyway movies are being remade because either new technology is available to make the special fx much better (outdated/old) or the first just plain didn't live up to what most people wanted. That's my take on it though.

The more superhero movies the merrier IMO.

The last Hulk movie was horrible, I saw it in theaters because my friend loves the Hulk, but man The Hulk was way too CGI and unrealistic, he was like 50ft tall and could jump a thousand feet. Atleast the new Hulk can't possibly be worse than the last one haha.

Re: Is it good to recreate Marvel movies or bad?

Well there has been several Marvel movies that came out totally wrong or maybe of the details that was created, since after all there are different views on what is being played or aired around country.

Another thing is that there might be some mix ups of somce scenes being the opposite. I have not seen one scene where everything fit in one whole thing, well except the Spiderman movie which of course everything makes sense, but everything would have gone in order of the enemies rather then random foes.

I don't think there should be recreations, because everytime i watch a recreated film, the images of the last film come up in my head, so it's kind of wierd. But i'm still going to watch it, thats cause i'm a big marvel fan.

Re: Is it good to recreate Marvel movies or bad?

    WOW !

Thanks for creating this thread, I've always wanted to speak about this!!

Okay, NO NO NOOOOOOO!! Recreating Marvel movies is a horrible idea! Because, as you said.. the only new thing that comes out of it are the graphics and effects.. storyline and characters are exactly the same. So it's like.. "Why am I going to spend $10 to see a movie I already saw?"

Grr, so aggravating! There's no sense in recreating a Marvel movie, ANY movie for that fact!, UNLESS it's been years and years since the first was created. For instance, The Omen or The Exorcist.. when you recreate movies that were made like ten years ago or so.. you're re-creating it for the new generation of kids who may be interested in seeing the movie with better qualities to it.. Like, I saw both of those movies.. but that's because I hadn't seen the originals. I mean, after I saw the new ones I went and saw the old ones, and of course the older ones were better because they were the originals, and all the new ones had to offer were better effects (like stated a gazillion times before).

    Yep.

Re: Is it good to recreate Marvel movies or bad?

Well yep I agree with you on that perfectly. There are good things about that White Wolf, although watching the same thing over and over does get boring. What were the good ones about Marvel movies back in the past before remaking it?
