Well, I've watched the first season and currently watching the second season. I was just wondering if any one here watches Gossip Girl the same as I do? Also, what do you think of it?
And if you must know, Gossip Girl is based on Cecily von Ziegesar's book series about the stories of Manhattan's Elite and how it is revealed by a mysterious person: Gossip Girl.

It's a good show, I don't watch it anymore because I work on Monday nights when they play it. I hate Michelle Trachenberg, so I skippped that whole part of the season. I just don't think she is very pretty or talented.
So it's not my favorite show ever, I liked Gross Pointe much better, but they canceled it after one season.
I watched the first episode then stopped...
I read the books way back when and those were indeed interesting, with all the drama and what not.
But the T.V series...It seems to revolve to much around Blair and sex. XDDD
Even though the books are too, but something about the show bugs me.
i loved the first season of gossip girl (partly because of michelle trachtenberg's bitchy role) however, since then the show has gone too far away from the books and started making the characters unrealistically moral in every situation (completely different Serena... in the books she never gave a **** about anyone but herself, Chuck was gay, Blair was crazy in love with Nate). Anyways, I love that GG is being made into a manga (Gossip Girl Manga Preview ยป Manga Worth Reading) and hope that an anime will come soon and follow the tone of the books more closely.
