well it seems that HALO has decided to follow DOOM and become a movie.
Plot Outline: After they crash-land on an artificial ring-world called "Halo", a marine captain, his surviving marines, and a genetically-and-surgically-enhanced supersoldier called "Master Chief" must find out what the Covenant, the genocidal alien race they are at war with, are looking for on the ring. However, Halo holds more secrets than either side imagined.
not that we need to know the plot, but yes it's following the fist game, i'd like to see how well they do it.Rumor has it Alex Garland's script will not be used and D.B. Weiss is working on a story draft, all the better i guess.
A director and cast are expected to be named in coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled.
The Halo film is due to be released in mid-2007 by Universal Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox film studios.
i cant wait for it to come out, it should be very interesting. so if anyone hears any more post it here for all to see.

no i think a halo movie would be more of a thriller. if u have ever read the books u would see how fast the battles are over the only reason u never die in the games is because its a game...u arnt that smart are u???

i've known the movie rights have been sold since 04 but i was begining to wonder. and no, there's no way in 40 hells that doom could be cooler than halo.
A. Doom's BFG doesn't come close to the kickassness of the fuel rod cannon.
B. those stupid little doom aliens are ugly basstards. the halo elites and hunters look cool.
C. the master chief (if i need to explain then your queer).

Let's not start to compare Doom to Halo.
I was just talking about how crappy the Doom film was and that the Halo film needs to be much better.
Sounds like a shitfest. Can't wait to go see it.
I think this movie will suck... it seems like most movies that come from games just suck so badly... :/ well I'll watch it anyways lol
