Tell me the ending if you finish. I read the first book years back because of my little sister. She brought it from school and I just started reading. I got hooked. I recieved the 2 and 3rd one as a gift from my English teacher at the time. The fourth one I bought in England and the fith in Jamaica. The sixth my older sister bought me. But I don't really care, I just want to know what happenes.

I think it's good so far, it's deffinetely got more going on than the other books and things are happening much faster. I was very suprised how fast Voldemort came into picture! And this book is deffinetely proving to be more gory, which I love.

But I must admit the impracticalities of the book are starting to get to me. The main being it's kind of annoying how Death Eaters are continuosly trying to kill Harry and his friends yet he, nor the others, return the favor. I mean if someone is trying to kill you who you know isn't going to stop trying, wouldn't you want to save yourself having to deal with the same people over and over again by simply eliminating them? It's pretty much the author limiting the main characters with just their hands in a gunfight; and it's crap. It's like she doesn't want the characters to look like "bad people" who actually defend themselves with lethal force in the eyes of all her innocent young readers, wanting to maintain the impression that the main characters are too good - or stupid - to fight fire with fire.

But other than that the book is good so far. And for the record I'm on page 320 . Oh and I'm sorry if there are any spoilers in my little rant. I don't think I gave anything very crucial away. So if I did my apologies.

I bought the book but am not going to read it, maybe my sis will (I doubt it) but actually it's just as a gift...



I stopped reading Harry Potter after reading the 4th part... Firstly because Latvian publishers put it in two very, very expencive books and I just hated to give away that money and aprove the way they work in Latvia (because you could buy it as one small book in London and quite cheap too...) and I tihnk I overgrew it...

Also I find it so boring- all the parts are so alike (for me). And how can one poor boy have such a live- every year it's like: boring sumer, getting to school- boring, then something happens at the time of Cristmas or smth., then again nothing for some time- some quidich (how do you spell it-dunno) matches, that's all... and then, at the end of the year- a great, terrible test... and that for four parts (maybe it changes in the fifth? and on?"

The idea is great!!! but... oh well...

well it was a good book with a decent ending. also it was betterthan the last two. but was a vey quick read waas hoping would be longer. but im kind of worried about the movies through out all of them if uv read the books thweyve changed alot of stuff around and completely missed others which is ufortuinate because the last book pays allot to details. i wonder how the next movie is gonna be
