Last house on the left was a great reverse horror movie. I would give details on what reverse horror is but that would ruin the plot. It has exploding heads.

If you're looking for a classic the original "Nosferatu" can get pretty creepy. I'm not a big horror movie kind of guy because recently they've all started to suck.

The problem with watching too many horror films is that you eventually become 'desensitized' to the horror, so that newer horror films start to lose their impact...

Sounds like it's time for you to try something different, and try some of the 'disturbing' films instead of the 'scary' films...

    Re: Horror films

I have never really cared for horror movies simply because most are never all that spooky, expecily those now which focus to much on the goor factor which gets boring after a while. But here are a few I did enjoy.
Rosemary's Baby is a good one, just flat out spooky.
Cube, a science fiction horror not to mention a real brain teaser as people try to figure there way through a labrenth of death. Sort of like a sick vertion of an arubix cube from hell.
The Grudge was a good one as well.

Those are my top three personel favorits
"MY DEAR... I GIVE YOU THE CAPELLAN CONFEDERATION"
AND THUS THE WAR WAS STARTED NOT BY GUN SHOT BUT BY WEDDING BELLS

Well really nothing scares but this one movie called " The Mist "

My philosophy for horror is: The less you see, the scarier it it.
