I'm worried as to how much they are going to cut from the original for the movie, though I think Robert Downey Jr. can pull off a great alcoholic/drug addict, so that should make it very close to the original.
it's official!!
i can't wait...
any comment about this movie?

ROFLMFAO! he shure is XD
it looks CRAZy, and ya, im worried bout how much filtering they will do, but also what will they do with War Machine. like ive heard allota stories that war machine would make a camio in this movie, but if he does, then will it make a big or small impact. also at stake is the CGI (computer generated images) cuz this is like a great movie where it can excell, but in the wrong hand, could flop.Iron Man is a 2008 superhero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics character Iron Man. The film is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. The film is slated for a May 2, 2008 release.

Isn't Iron Man like some kind of rich buisness man with too much time on his hands? The actor in that pic looks like he's trying to build a body suit out of cookie tins in his garage. And I'm pretty sure Iron Man wasn't a beaner? Iron Man has been my absolute favorite hero since I was little (still is), but I think this movie is going to suck and will probably disgrace the Iron Man franchise.
Death is your most loyal companion, for he will never fail you.
Beaner? Isn't that considered pretty racist? Sometimes it isn't the color that matters. The essence of the character is what should truly matter here. Kinda like Kingpin being black in DareDevil.
Anyways, I think this guy is actually an all out white American. Does working hard in a dark place really effect the appearance that much? Isn't he that actor who played in the sequel to 'The Fugitive' as the evil agent trying to kill Welsley Snipes?
Iron Man! I have been waiting a long time for this one. He is probably my favorite super hero right next to the Silver Surfer. I can't say much about expectations since this is actually the first time I have even seen a live action pic from the movie. Are there any trailers for this? It's not like I will check it out for myself, but would be nice if it were put on here.
Even fi the thing is shabby..come on ..it's Iron Man! I will definentally go see this in theatres when it is released!
Hmmm, interesting. If it's done well, it will be an awesome movie. If they screw it up though...
I think it'll turn out to be either a great movie, or a big flop of what I'm hearing & what I know. I wonder how they'll write up his beginings.
From what I know, Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man, is both a genious inventor & expert businessman. However, someone captured him & a Nobel Prize winning scientist, with Stark getting wounded in the heart in the process. Building a device to keep him alive, the 2 were forced to build some sort of super armour for their captor. However, they rigged it so it worked off/ improved Stark's device thing, allowing him to use it. Problem is the scientist was killed during the resulting escape attempt, though Stark survived & excaped. He then told the world that Iron Man was actually an employee of his & he's here to protect, blah blah blah...
If I got anything wrong, feel free to tell me.
