it has to be more violent in order to live up to todays standards for movies
if it was like part 1 2 and 3 it would never be a hit in this age

stallone probably knows that and thats why he decided to make this
hardcore action movie

which to me is a very good choice and im looking forward to the movie
where before the trailer i had my doubts about it

yeah...but that was tooo way off. it made rambo look like a war-freak-psycho instead of a war-freak-buddhist-hippie-hero. still i'm a fan of sly.

And why on earth would you say it's more violent? Rambo films have always been violent. It's just that they're showing it a more gritty way for the new film.

You do realise Rambo was originally the "war-freak-psycho" type right? That's what was good about First Blood. The subsequent films just raped the concept into a mindless 'blow shit up' affair.
It looks like the new Rambo film will combine both approaches.
