I have had to watch this movie in my class and was wondering if any one out there noticed all the really bad stuff in it like that a CELL PHONE wont work under ground and that it COULDNT RAIN!! lol i was just wondering if it was that ovious...

Well it would actually depend on how far underground you are, on how much signal you would get. Which I would think if your more than a couple of feet under ground your not going to have signal. Unless you had high speed internet connection underground then you could make your own signal, and be able to use it.

Well, if one is deliberately searching for all those slip-ups, I'm certain that every film has many of those. So my advice, don't care too much about them and just try to enjoy the movie as it is. Otherwise you're facepalming so much that you might actually miss most part of it.
And yeah, depends on what a cell phone he had. But seeing my phone loosing connection in the metro, I don't think that it is going to work too well on my journey down to the center of earth.
