Thread: Klonoa~ The saddest game ever?

I assume that you liked the game, after reading that you had to cry at the end.
I do not have the game as for yet, that's because I wasn't sure if I want to purchase it. Personally, I think it looks a bit boring. Although I saw that reviews were great.
And hearing that it is sad, actually I'm not that much into sad games. Normally, I play games to have fun and feel better. Life's already sad enough, if I'm allowed to be a little bit emo. <:
I wonder if it's even released in Europe. Maybe I should take a look at it. I guess you'd recommend it?

Well there are some strong points you brought up: The gameplay is bland, it features about nearly 10 hours, so RENT IT if you can. I was a personal fan of Klonoa 2, and the only reason I got 3 was because of the depressing ending of 2, I wanted to see what else happend, and 3 well.. 3 was worse lol, but I take Klonoa on a personal level for some reason~ Its as if it relates to me, so I am uncertain if its just me or what, but I personally loved the story, and gameplay not so much, but its worth a rental!

Well I've never played the game but I get the same effect from Kingdom hearts.

See thats weird for me because I never found Kingdom Hearts that sad, I just found it very exciting. It was like a thriller for me, while I knew that right off the bat Klonoa was going to have a depressing ending, its just the vibe I get off the game I guess, and I dont know, I guess we all have a game that personally relates to us or something.
