When you play violent games, you're just wasting your time shooting fake creatures and there's no sense of accomplishment really when you're done. If you play a game like KR:AI (IGN: Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Review ), you're actually improving a real-world skill (the game actually detects how well your intonation and stuff is, and scores you accordingly) that's good to have. How about that?

Personally, the issue comes down to what type of a gamer you are. Because I can tell you that certain people will consider beating certain FPS games an accomplishent, especially when done in the hardest mode.
