The Lord Weird Slough Feg

Has anyone heard of this amazing band? They play a very odd, yet cool, style of metal with a bit of folk splashed in, with galloping Iron Maiden-style riffs and the perfect vocalist to finish off the mix. Now, some people, with their polished, glossy mainstream stuff like HIM or Panic! At the Disco won't get it at first listen, but if you've got a taste for real metal, then you'll most likely really love this band eventually.

I may be pushing it by making this...I don't know how many people here will actually like this band. But whatever.

My favorite tracks by this band would have to be Red Branch, The Wizard's Vengeance, Brave Connor Mac, The Great Ice Wars, Vargr Theme/Confrontation, and The Final Gambit. But really, almost all of their songs are fun as hell and great for a listen when you're in the mood for music that's not depressing emo "I want to kill myself because life sucks" junk.
