Somebody please tell me why they're just now making commercials for Maple Story??? I used to play that game like every other day a couple summers back. Don't get me wrong, MS is an okay game. I've got a few friends that play. But it's not worthy of a TV ad. It's not that popular, and it's not that great. I've played plenty of free online games that are way better. Survival Project was the shiznittle-bam until they got shut down last summer. Best free online RPG ever! Rakion is WAY better than Maple Story. (It kinda has a WoW feel to it) It is, on the other hand, better than Gaia Online. But still, how does a game with a moderately low replay rate get to be advertised on television when there are so many other games deserving of that kind of attention?
I would assume they payed to have the commercial made...
I personally haven't played it before, so I can't really state whether it is a good game or not. But if we are going to go as far as to compare it with gaia, then it can't be that good anyways, even if it's better. My opinions only of course.

Because they have obtained that level they are arrogant. You have to kep in mind when you talk about these guys they are kind of dorks who probably didn't excel at much and this is their only outlet to flex their muscles. Their egos would suffer no less so the the forum suffers some more. Watch one way or another they will probably repond to this post with a threat. But there are better forums out there. And your opinion is pretty close to mine. Everyone I knew from Gaia played Maple Story. And where are they getting the money to pay for those commercials anyhow? Sponsors can't possibly provide that kind of cash for a free online game. Where are the rest of the online game commercials?
