Has anyone of you heard about a Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Live Action Movie? I have Anime Insider right here next to me, but it only gives me the prospective cast, and noting else. For those of you wondering about the cast...

Honestly, I have to agree with Dom over at Megatokyo on his opinion that its insulting to the North American Asian community as a whole that they couldn't find any English speaking Asian actor/actress' to play the roles for any live action adaptation of an Anime (I'm looking squarely at the Dragon Ball movie).
Next I have to move on and say that AnimeInsider is a joke. The several times I've picked up (Meaning browsed through then promptly put back on the shelf) the magazine while at 7-11 as lead me to believe that the level of journalism in said publication is sub-par at best, inaccurate and on the level of Teenie-bopper crap that they shovel off to teenage girls at worst. There are only two anime magazines that I can think off that rival the quality of the ones in Japan is the US version of NewType, and that only did itself under because of its cost and ADV being idiots, and the other one for the life of me I can't think of the name ATM.
The Melancholy of Harhuhi Suzumiya is a classic and concidered by many to be one of the greatest Anime of all time, on the level of the movies from Studio Ghibli and Gainax's Evangelion (To cite examples, there are more), and should not be touched.
And as an EVA fan, I'm saying that Haruhi is better then EVA, PM me if you want to flame my choice, just be prepared for the responses you get back ;).
