I just recently got into their music. I have to say its totaly kick ass!
My favorite song is "Enter Sandman". I got into them 'cause other Gaara fans kinda associate "Enter Sandman" with him, so I call it his theme song I also like"Sad but True" and "Holier than Thou"

Seriously, they can't be beaten at the thing they do best.

Metallica has made many kickass songs over the years. Be sure to check out:
Am I evil?
Battery
Blitzkrieg
For Whom the bell tolls
One
Master of puppets
...and many others.

Also, don't be affraid to check out their cover album Garage inc.
There are some truly kickass covers on that one e.g.:
Die, die my darling (The Misfits)
Overkill (Motörhead)
...and others.

hassun and metallica i would never of guessed but it doesnt surprize me.

As a guitarist its was natural for me to pick up metallica 10yrs ago., i still like them, but not thier las album...it just didnt do it for me.
I loved thier first albums like Black and And justice for All.
and select songs from thier Reload album.
they were the basis of metal back then and still are today for guiarists. if not they suck

metalica is a great band but not the best, well at least in my eyes. but i also like enter sandman to.

In my eyes Metallica is far from the best. Sure they had some great albums (i.e. Kill Em' All, Ride the Lightning, And just for all...etc) But once they hit Load it started going down hill. Again this is just my opinion and I delve deeper into the heavier, darker side of metal.

metallica is the shit! even st.anger was still a good cd.

overall, the black cd is the best one because of its vast majority of great songs.

i remember my first cd ever was metallica load at age 7,and age 8 i got metallica kill em all

(my avi was james hetfields eyes like a week ago)

overrated...............yeah, there first cd came out in 1983...............and they just made another cd in 2003, and arent done yet..........................yeah, overrated bands usually stick around for 26+ years.....(cant forget about garage days with Mustane)
