Who/what do you think is the most badass game character and why?
I would have to say the prince from Prince of Persia, he looks kind of dumb in the first one but in the second and third they make him look way better. I especially like the 2nd Prince of Persia's game cover, his eyes say "I'm going to kill you". Plus I think he has the best hand to hand combat moves ever in a game.

Most badass...this is a tough one to call. Sephiroth is probably the most badass villian, based off a single scene, the infamous fire scene in FFVII.
As heroes go, it's hard to find a badass that's not featured in a shooter and they all have basically the same personality. The Prince of Persia from Warror Within is definately pretty badass, but I'm drawing a blank on some of the badass shooter characters there are.
the hitman... agent 47... thats the MOST badassgame character in the world..... or sephiroth... that one is good too
It depends on what you mean. Or if it can be an person you don't play as or not.
But, of course I have to say Shadow from Shadow the Hedgehog (:P). Who doesn't love a black and red hedgehog going through various places destroying everything in his path with basically any weapon he finds. Along with powers that noone else can weild. Example: Chaos Blast. Which basically destroys everything on the screen in one hit. If not do it again, and again. Until you run out of energy. Or things to destroy.
I would also like to give an honorable mention to Tibarn from Fire Emblem: Path of Raidiance (FE9). And basically every god tier character in every FE game.

probably the best depiction of badass I can find in 30 seconds. Being a biker increases your badass status.
