I voted for rock. I listen to rock mostly, and I also like some japanese pop.
how can you say that/ you know you like some of the music they have today.It's better than half the stuff that came out back then.

I like rock,heavy metal,a little rap,country,and some alternative.I grew up listening to heavy metal so I guess you could say I like that the most.

I'd have to say Rock is the most popular, definitely. There's old bands such as The Rolling Stones and Jethro Tull. However, there's new bands too since the 90's such as Incubus and RHCP.
In any case, I'd stick to the older rock because it sounds better to me. Who could possibly go wrong with the Stones? I've been listening to them on Napsterlinks, and they seem to be getting better by the decade.

I listen to mostly songs that are in other languages. I like music for the beats and the voices, and for some reason I find asian voices the most pleasant usually, so most of the music I like is like Chinese, Korean, Japanese, or Thai pop... ^^;;

Answering the question, I think that both Rock and Rap are at the top. I hear more people say they like rock, but you see and hear rap all over tv and dances and such.
I myself like songs from both genre.
