I always like JAM Projects. I like how their music sound... full of spirit and energy. Everytime I hear their songs, it just puts me in good mood. Is blood boiling. ^^

m.o.v.e is one of my favorite Japan band too. Techno mix with rap.. is just awesome. Lead male and female vocal just awesome.

I listen to Folk Metal and Symphony Metal from all around Europe. My favorite Folk Metal band is Haggard. They sing folk songs from pretty much from all old cultures of Europe specially Swedish folk songs. My favorite Swedish Folklore song is Herr Mannelig though this one is sung in Italian rather than in Swedish, the song its about a mountain troll who falls in love with a noble knight named Sir Mannelig (Herr Mannelig).

i'd choose something from japan, but let's mix it up a bit.

i choose a band from sweden called Hammerfall. they have a great guitar and bass combo, plus the vocals are certainly that of metal quality. they are like a mix between iron maiden and iced earth. i truly suggest them, specifically "Hearts on Fire" and "Ravenlord"

To me.. If it's from Japan.. it would be Larc En Ciel for his cool songs, his powerful and haunting vocal... and his singing style though it seems a bit gay.. another would be Asian Kung Fu Generation for their funny and weird videos, cool songs and heavy guitar

Asian Kung Fu Generation and Larc En Ciel has their songs on numbers of anime opening and endings ^^

Home made Kazoku is quite a nice Hip Hop band ^^... the song Arigatou by them is my favourite... This song was an ending song to an anime... Was it bleach or... Samurai champloo?

Suga Shikao is another of my favourite.. his songs are relaxing and the beats are nice in certains songs... Tsuki to Knife is pretty sad... but still relaxing and enjoyful ^^

    it was bleach, my friend.

but to add more, there is an american folk rock band i love. Blackmoor's Night.

if you efver get the chance, listen to their rendition of Greensleeves. The vocals are haunting, while the guitar sets the mood like you're in a spanish serenade,. plus the guitarists was one of the ones for Deep Purple! go figure!
