Thread: Music or Song?

I prefer listening to songs, but I also looove making music. I guess it really depends on my mood, but most of my music library consists of songs. Jazz and Techno are my favorite musical genres, even though they can have lyrics. I'd say video games have the best non-lyric music today though, and also have the most variety of genres music-wise.

I'm more of a song person than an instrumental one.

Right Seraphim,I'm a song of a person too and I can't live without songs in my whole LIFE!
Songs keep me alive and functioned.Afterall Its what I became an anime fan!
I just love songs and in fact I have a playlist!
So,YEAH! ITS SONGS FOR ME!

Well for me it depends...when I am doing homework, working or just overall doing anything through out the day I prefer songs. Although, instrumentals are nice from time to time...to me vocals just add a extra flavour to an already great music. Not to mention sometimes depending on the song you can get motivation from the lyrics.

But, when it comes down to writing my fanfics I have to have instrumentals almost 98% of the time. For some reason...I can't snap into the right mood if I am listening to songs that have vocals in it. I often love to listen to intrumentals made with piano, flute, or violin...its really divine. But, occasionally a orchestra like song during writing can also be blissful...well at least to me it is.

I do like song better then music even if the music i'm listening to now isn't in english.
It really depends on what i'm going to do if i'm like reading a book which hasn't happen in 2 years i would like it to be just the music i'm ADD so i'll start to sing along and forget to read it the same when i'm drawing no words. Now if i'm just riding in my car, playing my game or hanging out with my friends then almost 93% of the time its music with lyrics.

I prefer song and a little vocals when im doing anything...
I listen to a song for its beat more than the actual lyrics...
I especially love it when they mix violens/pianos in with guitars.
I like that alot...=D
Although if the person cant sing worth a damn, then I wont listen to it.

I can go either way I appreciate all musics.

I really do love a good voice thou with a song since its very soothing to hear a lovely woman sing, but I can also respect a song without voices but it has to be quite upbeat and easy to dance too. :P

Music is passion and soul to me I love it and couldn't go a day without it!
