need help with RE4

can anyone help me i cant get the darn handcannon its too hard i cant get it with leon and wesker
i got 5 stars with ada krauser and hunk on the village ada and krouser castle
krouser on cammando island
but i cant get it with all characters
and ive played the game for 2 months

well i was just wondering if there was a certain spot to stay at or strategy to use

Yes there are strategies to use.
It's all about timing and collecting the powerups at the right time, especially on the PS2 version.

I don't believe in perfect... Resident Evil Four I think was too easy for me...
I've finish "The Mercenaries" for about half an hour... Like Hassun said, you have to make some strategies to stay longer in the game... About the man in the chainsaw... Just go find for a bigger area to fight with it... `Cause he's really a monster, but you can handle it... Sometimes, you don't have to get all the power-ups because sometimes it gives you less time to kill some people... Your just wasting time on that...
