I suggest you give Wolfmother a try.
Their site Wolfmother
If you go to the 'Audioplayer' at the top, you can cycle through some of their songs. I suggest White Unicorn, Joker and the Theif and Pyramid. One of my favourite bands of 'Today'.

ya, i iagree, i quite like the old band much better than the new ones.
well i git some new bands that i like,
but i kinda like the oldies more, from 50s and to 70s
LOL!! Wow...that made me laugh. Okay, on topic.Quote:
Older bands voices sound way better then newer bands. The newer bands have girly faget voices and their lyrics seem like they are trying to be cool.
Led Zeppelin is good, I love his voice and music. Very original and clean cut. I like the new bands, though. Only because they're coming out at the time that I'm into it, lol. MCR, Panic!, Avenged Sevenfold...they're originals and hot [^ ^ music, I mean...well..maybe physically as well]. Fall Out boy and American Rejects...ew . They're the one's trying to be cool... However, I do have to agree with you that the new bands aren't aware of what they're singing about. Like Hinder. "Lips of an angel" is a good song. He's talking about cheating, and how he can't help it... And "Helena" by MCR. He misses his gf very much and can't stand to live without her. He'd rather stay at her funeral, but can't...
They do know what they're talking about... But sometimes, new bands can be a little... ^ ^;; not very mature..
There are some old bands that I like, Def Leppard; Styx; Ozzy;etc. and some new ones, Disturbed; Linkin Park; Bush;etc. Yet there are some terrible bands today, just as there were back then. Hindsight's 20/20, we don' often remember bad bands of the past; only the good ones.:cool3:
